A reading club with a view to the future

January 2024 – AI

The world is changing, and as daunting the dynamics may be, there is always a silver lining, and there is always a lot of opportunity in great changes. We believe that one of the greatest challenges in the new year will be a fast and broad spread of Applied AI, but we fear it will be very uneven – those who understand it will hurry to apply it, those who don’t will fret about its ethics and regulation. It is a crucial democratic task to spread the knowledge about AI so all can benefit and all can matter.

That is why we have chosen to focus as much of the first quarter as possible on Applied AI, the mathematics of AI and data science, and the business of digital and data in the fourth industrial revolution. Our next months will have playlists on these topics. These books are written by the best voices in the world on the topics, and we hope you join us in trying to understand this fast future we are all a part of in 2024.
